How is it you can allow non-sponsors to view the threads in the 'Passwords' forum, but prevent them from actually opening, and viewing inside the thread?

I run Vbulletin, but have never seen that option. :confused:

Is it some kind of additional mod?

nope default options

go to forum permissions, choose you forum, make the first 3 selections as follow yes no yes....
